Blogger has fired into life this morning and up-dated my reading list although the order of things is rather haphazard and definitely not the correct order but it is a good start and appears to show that Blogger is doing something about it.
It is dull and overcast here at the moment although hopefully the sun will shine this afternoon as I have a lot of washing to get dry. Stupidly I did two loads of bedding last night without checking the weather forecast! Should have been more atuned to weather as I had just seen Pressure!
Later today I have a colour session with Hannah when she touches up my hair to restore to all over the colour of me with summer blond and winter dark combined. She is a good colourist. While I am in town I will check out the charity shops to see if there are any decent paperbacks and jigsaws on offer.
It is still warm enough to wear shorts here and yesterday the temperature was 23C in the afternoon.
At least I have more blogs on my reading list but not all of them yet.
ReplyDeleteIt's warm here and dry today. We've had 2 days of rain showers and the garden has perked up, tree leaves no longer curled and drooping. Autumn has arrived!
My hairdresser is a great colorist too. She's found a colour combo which looks natural, covers those grey roots. I had mine done last week and got my last, I think, really short haircut for the summer.
Yes, my reading list is distinctly haphazard and publication dates are not in order but some that haven't been there for weeks have reappeared. I stick to a colour combo which is close to my natural colour too. I have had my hair short this summer and think I will keep it that way. I like my hair short.
DeleteMy reading list now seems to be working - more or less - so it has made life easier for me today.
ReplyDeleteI have never coloured my hair but, since having it cropped short, the salt and pepper effect is much more noticeable. Not sure if I like it or not but I don't want to commit to ongoing colour just yet.
Basically the colour I have is my natural colour so most people don't know I have it coloured. I just like to keep it that way and it needs a bit of help now. My mother was the same and I follow her I suppose.
DeleteThe reading list problem has caused me some angst. I only found your post about the prisoners today! I am hoping the problem is going to be put right now. We have had it before but never for this long.
We're having similar temperatures here, but I need long sleeves or a light jacket in the morning now when I go to work.
ReplyDeleteYes, Blogger have definitely been doing something, I also noticed the updates on my reading list.
They sent me an email announcing that 7 old videos I had embedded in various blog posts were going to be deleted. This time, apparently it has nothing to do with "inappropriate content", but I guess it is for them to clean up things and save a bit of storage, which must cost Google a fortune.
All 7 are from 2016 or older, and I don't think anyone has ever actually played them while reading my posts; they are of such things like a waterfall or a panoramic view from a hill.
I don't mind losing those videos, and if I want, I can still save them - amazingly, the email from Blogger contains instructions on how to do that!
Maybe it's one step in the right direction for them, to finally fix the annoying bugs on the platform.
I am taking a jacket with me when I go out but finding it is too warm to wear it in midday.
DeleteI received same email from blogger during the night. It is strange because it refers to embedded video (stills actually) that were in an old blog that I deleted "forever" last year. So although I have no access to it, and don't want access to it, it appears that as far as Blogger is concerned it still exists. They even illustrated the videos for me and I recognise them. I am not wanting them and am happy to lose them. But it is still strange that they come from my deleted blog.
